Temporary Outage
Our scripts seem to be failing due to some sort of change in Google Voice. We are working to address the problem as quickly as possible and restore the service.

Large Volumes of Messages
Some users seem to be using scripts to generate emails and at times we have seen a very large numbers of SMS messages in a very short amount of time from a single user. Some users have generated upwards of 100 messages in 5 minutes using a single GvGateway.net account (and hence a single Google Voice account). While GvGateway.net does not currently impose any limits on the number of messages a user can send, it appears that doing so will result in additional messages failing to be sent by Google Voice. We suspect that Google is locking out accounts that exhibit this behavior for a period of time.
Our current estimate is that sending more than 100 SMS messages on a single Google Voice account in a 5 minute period results in the account being unable to send additional messages for 24 hours.
Please keep in mind that GvGateway.net users use there own Google Voice account to send SMS messages and that your use of Google Voice should always conform to the Google terms of service.

Service Interruption
We had 2 problems with GvGateway.net over the weekend that resulted in a service outage and delays in delivering messages. The first was caused by a huge influx of thousands of messages in a very short time. This resulted in delays in getting SMS messages late last week and over the weekend. The second issue was an ISP problem that impacted the internet connectivity of our server and caused a service outage on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Both issues have now been resolved and GvGateway.net is back to processing emails and generating SMS messages nearly instantly. Steps are being taken to prevent these types of issues in the future.

GvGateway.net Beta Status Update
The GvGateway.net site continues to add users and is running well. One minor issue has been addressed that caused problems when too email messages arrived simultaneously but other than this things have been running great.
Updated signup, account login, account editing and activation code is being completed and tested. Expect this to been rolled out in a couple of weeks. It will make for easier signed and allow the ability to readily update account information.

GvGateway.net Beta Update
The latest problem that was discovered is that some messages with empty bodies where failing to be forwarded as text messages. This has now been fixed and the site is running smoothly.

GVGateway.net Updates
We have found that some users have been having problems completing the signup and activation process. Our QA testing has found that accounts with single and double quotes (and perhaps some other special characters as well) in their passwords may have trouble and be told their login credentials and password do not match.
We now believe that these issues have been successfully addressed and hope that potential users who initially encountered signup issue will try again.

GVGateway.net Update
The GVGateway.net Beta community has continued to grow and the site is running smoothly with no new bugs discovered.
We am still seeing some new users adding 1, +1, ( ) and dashes to the phone number portion of the email addresses used to email GVGateawy.net. The code was updated tonight to accept:
